Becoming a team captain is a unique opportunity to lead a group of people who will play a key role in the Believe Walk. Some are experienced in managing a team and for others this is their first year. We at Stater Bros. Charities & Inland Women Fighting Cancer want to let you know that we support your efforts in your role as a Team Captain and/or as a Team Member.
Stater Bros. Charities and Inland Women Fighting Cancer support our teams by adding content to this site that will help you with your participation and fundraising efforts. We would like to provide you with key information about the event, pre-Walk activities, the route and the celebration at the Believe Bash following the walk. We know that this information will help team captains lead their teams to success!
As a registered participant of the Believe Walk you have resources in the Walk Center that will help you manage your team page.
Here are a few suggestions to get your started:
1) Register your team
2) Create a team name
3) Invite friends and family to join your team...search by your team name and register or download the Believe Walk Registration Form and mail back to

4) Set some goals for your team
5) Use your Personal Team Page to communicate with your team members.
6) Raise funds through friend to friend fundraising
7) Honor those you are walking for on your personal team page
8) Tell your story on your personal team page, upload pictures and make it your own
9) Send out e-mails and e-cards straight from your personal team page
10) Share your support for the Believe Walk on Facebook, Flickr and YouTube!
Teams- this year there is a staging area for our teams located at Smiley Park, S. 4th & E. Vine Streets behind the Redlands Police Annex Bldg. This area is for our teams the day of the event to meet prior to heading to the Believe Walk registration. Smiley Park is located one block South of the CVS Parking Lot off of Citrus Ave.
Your Team may set up an EZ up, lawn chairs ect. Please be creative and put up a team sign and decorate your team area. The space is on a first come first serve basis and is available Sunday, October 6, 2013 starting at 6:00 AM for set up. This is the best place to meet with your team before you register! Great area for team photos.
CHECK-IN & LATE REGISTRATION
On Friday, October 4, 2013, Stater Bros. Charities & Inland Women Fighting Cancer will host a Check-In & Late Registration. The Check-In is for those who wish to check-in early to pick up their supplies. If you choose to check-in early on Friday, you will not have to wait in long lines the day of the event. You will have everything you need and you can begin in the celebration!
For your convenience that day, we will also be open for late registration. Late Registration is for those who missed the registration deadline but still want to register for the event. If you miss the online registration deadline date of September 30, 2013, you can still register for the Believe Walk as a late registrant. The additional late registration fee of $15 will apply.Register early to receive your event t-shirt as t-shirts are not guaranteed for Late Registrants.
Late Registration cost after September 30, 2013 is as follows:
- Adult Registration (13 years and above) $50
- Child Registration (4 years to 12 years) $25
- Children 0-3 years are free.

- Pick up individual supplies
- Team Captains can sign to pick up for their team
Supplies for late registered walkers include: Commemorative Walk Bib & Wrist Band for entrance to the Believe Bash. Event T-Shirts are not guaranteed for late registration.
